Taste of Egypt Nile Cruise

The following itinerary is available on both the MS Nile Saray and MS Semiramis, take one of these elegant ships along this ancient path…

Day 1: UK – Luxor, you will be met upon arrival and accompanied to your chosen cruise ship. Dinner will be served onboard. Overnight onboard ship.

Day 2: Breakfast onboard. Visit to the West Bank including Valley of the Kings, Hapshetsut’s Temple in the Valley of the Queens and Memnon Collossi. Lunch and dinner onboard.

Day 3: Breakfast served onboard. Visit to the East Bank of the Nile including Karnak and Luxor Temples. Lunch and dinner served onboard, Sail to Edfu. Overnight onboard in Edfu.

Day 4: Breakfast onboard. Visit to Edfu Temple. Afternoon sailing to Kom Ombo. Visit to the Temple of Haroeris and Sobek in Kom Ombo. Lunch and dinner will be served on board. Sail to Aswan. Overnight onboard in Aswan.

Day 5: Breakfast onboard. The morning will be spent visiting the Aswan High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk and Philae Temple. Panoramic sailing onboard a felucca passing the Aga Khans Mausoleum followed by a visit to the Botanical Gardens. In the afternoon there is an optional city tour of Aswan. Lunch and dinner are served onboard. Overnight onboard in Aswan.

Day 6: Breakfast onboard. There is an optional morning visit by air or coach to Abu Simbel (local charge). Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Lunch and dinner are served onboard. Overnight onboard in Edfu.

Day 7: Breakfast onboard. Morning sailing to Luxor. Lunch and dinner are served onboard. Overnight in Luxor.

Day 8: Breakfast and lunch onboard before departing the ship mid-afternoon and returning to Luxor Airport and the return flight to the UK.

MS Nile Saray Cruise 3

A time-honoured tradition when visiting Egypt is a cruise down the River Nile and what better way to enjoy the experience than on the MS Nile Saray, exclusively for the use of our UK guests. Launched in 2006, this medium sized cruise liner has a good selection of on-board facilities as well as offering pleasantly furnished, comfortable accommodation and a warm and friendly atmosphere. It also features a large lounge perfect for relaxing after a day spent exploring the ancient monuments.

Facilities - Features: Five decks, three of which have cabins; swimming pool with sun deck; large restaurant located on the upper deck; lounge, bar; disco; boutique and gift shop

Activities - Whirlpool and regular evening entertainment

Accommodation - Lower deck external cabins have one double or twin beds (some with extra bed), TV, individually controlled air conditioning, internal telephone and shower room. Prices are based on 2 adults sharing on Full Board. A limited number of twin/double cabins for sole use (lower deck), upper deck cabins, and suites (located on the upper deck at the rear of the boat and more spacious with private balcony) are all available at a supplement.
