• Please be aware that it may be necessary to change the order or content of cruise itineraries from time to time, although we will endeavour to visit all the sights listed. Your final itinerary will be confirmed upon arrival by your cruise rep.

• Due to the ancient nature of many attractions, certain sites may not be accessible owing to restoration work.

• When docked in Qena, you may not be allowed off the cruise boat after your visit to Denderah Temple.

• If water levels are too low, cruise boats are unable to sail to Qena and so Denderah Temple will be visited overland by coach from Luxor (journey time is approximately 2 1/2 hours each way).

• Cruiseboats may dock 10 abreast which can obscure cabin views.

• Night-time cruising is sometimes necessary.

• Engine noise may be heard from your cabin.

• Depending on the weather, a motorboat may be used instead of a trip out on a felucca boat.

• Maintenance of Esna Lock is vital in controlling Nile water levels. Work is scheduled to take place from 01/06/06-30/06/06. We have therefore cancelled all cruises between these dates. For cruises that are not cancelled but begin or end within the Esna Lock closure dates, your cruise will be affected by a coach/minibus journey to or from Esna (approximately 45 minutes) and will be accompanied by a police convoy.
